The Tecumseh YMCA Tidal Waves Swim Team Are Preparing for the 2008-2009 Season

            The Tidal Waves is a recreational, yet competitive, YMCA swim team; it competes in the Southwest YMCA Swim cluster of Y’s.  This year, in its third season, the Tidal Waves have Y members representing four area school districts (Bethel Local, Huber Heights, Tecumseh Local and Northwestern Local Schools) as well as St. Peter’s School.  Members range in age from 6 years of age to 17 years old.

The Tecumseh Tidal Waves are coached by:

Head Coach: Sheli Randall

• an English teacher at Tecumseh Middle School
• married and has two daughters (one on the Swim Team)
• swam with the Tipp City Swim Team
• 9/10 year old Southern Ohio State Backstroke Champion
• Started the Tecumseh YMCA Tidal Waves Swim Team in 2005

Last season the team practiced Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 3:30 to 5:30 P.M.
